It is always exciting when one of your own comes back home but to have one take over a program is very special. Kennesaw Mountain is excited to introduce Mr. Caleb Carmean as our next Head Football Coach. Coach Carmean brings an infectious energy and enthusiasm with a great ability to connect with both students and adults along with deep-seated roots to “The Mountain”. Caleb is a graduate of Kennesaw Mountain High School (2005) and bleeds Mustang green and black. Coach began his playing days through the Kennesaw Mountain youth feeder program with the Kennesaw Generals and transitioned to the Kennesaw Mountain Football Program. Caleb was a three year starter at quarterback for Kennesaw Mountain during the 2002-2004 campaigns. Following his playing time at KMHS Caleb attended Shorter University where he was a 4 year letterman while playing quarterback. After playing at Shorter, Coach Carmean served as a graduate assistant football coach for the Hawks where he coached quarterbacks while earning a Master’s Degree in Leadership.

Coach Carmean then served as the quarterback coach at Coosa High School in Rome, Ga. before accepting the position of offensive coordinator and quarterback coach at Johnson High School in Hall County, Ga.

Coach Carmean and his family maintain a strong presence in the Kennesaw community to this day. His two brothers Jacob and Lucas also played football at Kennesaw Mountain and his parents have been very involved in both the football booster club and school activities over the years. Coach Carmean and his wife Misti have a beautiful daughter Rylan. Please welcome Coach Caleb Carmean as Kennesaw Mountain’s 4th Head Football Coach in school history.
