Former Mustang Chris Burns was the leading tackler for the White team in the Blue & White game for the Morehead State Eagles. Chris had 11 total tackles with 3 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks. The White team won the game 35-21.
Former Mustang Zack Vrtis was a member of the Ivy League Champion Quakers of the University of Pennsylvania. Penn finished with a 8-2 record.
Former Mustang Cole Rudder finished the season at Birmingham Southern playing free safety and totaling 49 tackles which was 3rd on the team. Birmingham Southern finished with a 4-6 record.
Former Mustang Jacob Carmean and the Patriots of Cumberland University lost in the first round of the NAIA FCS Playoffs to Lambuth 38-7. The Patriots finished with a 9-2 record.
Former Mustang Josh Carroll and the Jacksonville State Gamecocks finished the regular season witha Ohio Valley Conference Best 8-3 record.
Former Mustang Daniel Hallman played in the California Community College State Championship on Dec 12th for the College of San Mateo in San Mateo, California. The Bulldogs came up short losing 7-6 and finishing with a 10-2 record. Daniel had 4 tackles and a pass break-up in the loss. The trip to the championship was the first for the Bulldogs.

Former Mustangs Caleb Carmean, Dennis Stanley and Andrew Schampfer are now working on the coaching staff at Shorter College. All are furthering their education while coaching. Andrew is seen here working with a player while Dennis and Caleb watch practice from the sideline.
 
Former Mustang Eric Elliot participated in spring practice for the University of Georgia and partcipated in the G-Day Game.
**Former Mustang Corey O'Shea finished the season anchoring the offensive line for Elon University. Elon finished the 2009 season with a 9-3 record and a NCAA FCS playoff appearence. The Phoenix averaged 30 points per game and complied over 5,000 yards of offense during the year.
