NEW COACH NAMED
Effective February 8, 2010, Mr. Chad McGehee will assume the role of Head Football Coach at Kennesaw Mountain High School. Coach McGehee is currently a physical education/ISS teacher and serves as the Defensive Coordinator at Parkview High School, one of the top programs in the state of Georgia. Prior to his position at Parkview, he was the Head Coach at Elkmont High School in Alabama. He took over a program at Elkmont that had been 1-9 for two consecutive seasons and led them to their first winning season in 5 years. Prior to that position, he served as Defensive and Special Teams Coordinator at Grayson High School. He assisted in starting the Grayson Football program going 25-10 in their first four years, including the schools first Region Championship and back to back playoff appearances. Coach McGehee holds Masters Degree from Ball State University and a Bachelors Degree from the University of Alabama, where he walked on and earned two varisty letters and become an All-SEC Academic Athlete. He also served in the U.S. Army National Guard Bravo Battery Unit which was mobilized and served in Operation Enduring Freedom.

________________ PARENT MEETING 2/18/10 6:30 KMHS THEATER A mandatory parent player meeting will be Thursday February 18th at 6:30pm in the KMHS Theater. Information will be given about the upcoming 2010 season.
______________ AFTER SCHOOL TRAINING Mustang Training will begin after school Monday, February 22nd at the field house. Training will run from 3:45-5:00 Monday - Thursday for ahtletes not involved in another sport. ______________ MIDDLE SCHOOL WORKOUTS The morning workouts for 6, 7 & 8th graders will resume March 1st. Two days a week on Tuesday and Friday mornings at 6:45.
CLICK HERE FOR PERMISSION FORM ______________ DeCarlo Signs  Kennesaw Mountain's Steven DeCarlo officially signed a letter of intent with Elon University on National Signing Day. Steven, the 2009 Golden Helmet Award winner, totaled close to 90 tackles and 17 tackles for loss playing defensive line over the last three years while being a leader on the offensive side of the ball and special teams. The Mustang family wishes Steven all the best at the next level.
