Mustang Clayton Whitlock Finishes 4th at State!
%20056_edited-111.jpg) Class of 2009 Mustang Clayton Whitlock competed in the state power lifting meet in Perry, GA finishing fourth in the 181-190 weight class. Clayton’s weight total in three lifts, the bench, power clean and squat was in excess of 1000lbs with a personal best in the squat lifting 450lbs!Great job Clayton! ________________________________________
Rudder signs on the Dotted Line!
 Cole Rudder signed his national letter of intent to play for Birmingham Southern in the fall. The all time interception leader in school history will take to the field in the fall hoping for a similar result with the Panthers. Great job Cole and good luck! We are all very proud of you! _____________________
Two More Mustangs Sign on the Dotted Line!
 Mustangs Zack Vrtis and Jacob Carmean signed letters of intent to play football at the next level. Zack will be attending the University of Pennsylvania and Jacob will playing for the Patriots of the University of the Cumberlands. Congratulations on this great achievement and good luck at the next level!

Congratulations to the National Signing Day Class of 2009!

Congratulations to Mustangs Alex Urquhart, Jay Finch & Zach Burgess who signed scholarships to play at the next level on National Signing Day. Both Alex and Zach will be attending Morehead State University in the fall and playing for the Eagles while Jay will stay closer to home and play for the Yellow Jackets of Georgia Tech. Great job guys and good luck!

Mustang Zack Vrtis recognized!
 Zack Vrtis of Kennesaw Mountain High School has been nominated as an Old Spice® Red Zone Player of the Year!
He has also been named one of the 50 national Players of the Year. The top 50 players nationwide will receive a plaque and other awards.
As a result of this achievement, Zack Vrtis was among a select group of players who were selected as a national Red Zone Player of the Year and was honored in a full-page feature in USA Today on February 5th.
For the eighth straight year, Old Spice® is recognizing high school football players who go above and beyond the call of duty, particularly in the Red Zone. The program honors athletes who are able to elevate their play and step up when the heat is really on. These athletes embody leadership, performance and desire, and serve as examples to their teammates on and off the field. _____________________________
